So far it has been a Fix It Again Today cruise. So far I have replaced a broken
filter element(including pumping the deisel out of the bilge), fixed the autopilot I think, and when we get to Santa Barbara tomorrow we will replace the engine starting battery. Other than that we are having a
wonderful and “relaxing” time! Today we saw the biggest Leatherneck Turtle ever. It was at least 4′ by 3′ with a head the size of a bowling ball. We motored-sailed at over eight knots arriving in Channel Islands
Harbor (Pacific Corinthnian YC) from Cabrillo in less than 7 hours. We were so fortunate to enjoy both friends and relatives for our two day stay in Cabrillo. Hopefully we will continue our trip north at this pace and take in all the sites without the rush. Love to all
